The long awaited IKEA Valencia store has opened in the Alfafar area of Valencia. It is the second largest IKEA store in Spain.
FLATPAXABIA will soon be shopping at IKEA Valencia and are happy to be able to increase our Standard Delivery Area thanks to the new IKEA Valencia store.
FLATPAXABIA have shopped at IKEA Valencia since its opening in June, 2014. We shop twice a week and offer the same comprehensive 'Shopping, Delivery & Assembly' services that we have offered from IKEA Murcia since 2007.
Having opened its doors in 2014, the IKEA Valencia store is a modern and stylish implementation of the traditional IKEA 'warehouse' store style. It is one of the largest IKEA's in Spain and is accompanied by the usual IKEA restaurant and free parking (for over 2,000 vehicles - although you might struggle to park close depending on how busy it is!). It also has a crèche, bistro, FIKA bar, and 'Swedish shop' (for food and drink, a mini supermarket).
The IKEA Valencia store is situated a short distance south of the centre of Valencia, in the Alfafar commercial area, and access is easy via the V-31 main road. Note that there may be tolls due depending on your travel route. You can view our IKEA Valencia map for more details, or click here to enter your starting location to get directions.
IKEA Valencia is closed on Sundays.
The staff at IKEA Valencia are generally helpful and polite. If they speak English, their nametag/staff badge will show a Union Jack and their level of English. Usually this will be 'basic', so if your Spanish is not great it may be a good idea to have a solid plan of the things you are interested in before visiting.
As a global company IKEA's series and items are mostly universal. As such you can make a shopping list based on items seen in, for example, a British IKEA store or catalogue, and the reference numbers will be the same in Spain. However, there are exceptions which can complicate things. For example, bed sizes are often country specific. British and Scandinavian shoppers will find that the bed sizes available in Spain are not identical to those in their home countries.
As such, the best way to make a 'shopping list' is to use the IKEA Spain website (which is only available in Spanish). Alternatively the IKEA Spain catalogue, which is available in English, can be found online here, and is also available in print at the store, or via one of FLATPAXABIA's contact points.
If you are a FLATPAXABIA client we will take a shopping list from any country and check all items and reference numbers. If required, we will suggest Spanish equivalents where possible. Where exact equivalents are not possible we will suggest similar alternatives, based on our experience of shopping at IKEA in Spain for over 10 years.
We offer a full shopping & delivery service, as well as an assembly service if required. Further, for clients in the Javea area - Calpe, Moraira, Cumbre del Sol, Benitachell, Gata, Denia - we offer an economical 'small items' shopping & collection service, where we shop for our clients at IKEA and they collect from one of our local collection points, in Javea or Benitachell.
Our aim is to take any hassle and stress out of the IKEA shopping experience. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions about our services. For a free, no-obligation quotation please send us your IKEA shopping list (names, reference numbers, quantities, etc) - for more details see our order page.
FLATPAXABIA's standard ‘Shopping & Delivery’ area can be seen as the coloured areas on the map below. We can deliver between Valencia in the north and Murcia in the south.
At flatpaxabia we’re happy to deliver beyond our standard area but please note we charge a small ‘distance surcharge’ to cover the extra time and fuel involved. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you’d like more details.
